  Mrs Cunningham came to us and said that children who were eating the school dinners were complaining that they didn’t like the food available.She said that she would like us to go back to our classes and ask  them  what they don’t like about the food then she will have a meeting with the cook’s.Utkarsh who is also on the school ground committee(and Iris) showed us the ideas they had  for the playground,and other outside areas of the school.It was our last meeting of school council we enjoyed being school council and we enjoyed the Assembly this morning we all wish to do it again next year.We were given certificates from Mrs O’connor to say well done…

Quiet area

Everyone in school council are gathering up ideas for our quiet area. some ideas are a girls zone and boys zone, grass area to sit on, music, benches, cushions, mats and board games stuck in the table. More ideas the more it will be fun!!!!! Tell us your ideas and what you think by just talking to the school councilers. school councilers will change this school around!!!!!

School council are going to make a quiet area for the school. so several people from school council are going to meet other schools, governors, teachers, birmingham city council and  loads of adults.

The school council meeting have discussed about the friendship post and we came up with a idea. Instead of having a friendship post standing up, we have thought of a friendship sign painted on the ground.

What happened on red nose day

March 19, 2009

On red nose day we raised alot of money.We all wore incredibly, stylish clothes.We had one raffle produced by yr5 also  had a cake sale with delicous tasty cakes.Y6 had a raffle where the prize was a celebration egg the runner up prize was a pack of felt tip pens.Y6 also had a talent show in the playground.It was a fun day all the children and teachers had a great day.

Thank-you for all the money we raised.

Red Nose day2009

The school councilers spoke to their class about red nose day  and we brought class ideas   to our meeting.We shared the ideas with in our school council and took a blind vote.The theme is wear something funny for money.Please look around the school for posters to do with the fund  rasing to raise as much as we can for red nose day.

Our chair of the school council Alice and Mrs o’connor have spoken to Mr Hopkin  about the match attack cards.He will discuss with the senoir leadership team and get back to us wether we can have them or not to be continued… 

we will be meating in a few weeks.

Andrew Smith brought us a presentation about bringing back match attack playing cards.We spent time thinking about the pros and cons of bringing them back into school and after we have a meeting with Mr Hopkin we will get back to you…
